About this coin
The silver Britannia was launched in 1997, so the 2027 issue is its thirtieth. The Royal Mint has given this year a one-off privy mark — a '30' within stylised waves — and an anniversary background texture behind Philip Nathan's Britannia. King Charles III, as portrayed by Martin Jennings, is on the obverse. The coin is struck in 999 fine silver, is UK legal tender and carries the same anti-counterfeiting reverse features as the gold range.
