About this coin
Lunar Series III, the Perth Mint's twelve-year zodiac cycle, reaches the Goat in 2027. The silver design shows three goats of different ages grazing beneath a plum-blossom tree — a play on the Chinese New Year blessing that three goats bring good fortune. The Chinese character for 'goat', the 2027 date and the 'P' mintmark complete the reverse, and King Charles III is on the obverse. Struck in 999.9 silver as Australian legal tender.
