About this coin
America's best-known gold coin. The obverse is Augustus Saint-Gaudens' striding Liberty, adapted from the 1907 Double Eagle, and since 2021 the reverse has carried a close-up eagle-head design. Gold Eagles are struck in 22-carat gold (91.67%) with a little silver and copper for hardness, and the stated weight is the pure gold content — a 1 oz coin contains a full troy ounce of fine gold. They are US legal tender and the coin most US dealers quote first.
- 40 × 1/4 oz coins — 10 troy oz of fine gold in total
- Purity: .9167 (22 carat)
- Producer: United States Mint
- Face value: $10 per coin
- Year: 2027
What you receive
Forty 1/4 oz coins in the mint's own sealed tube. Coins in the same tube share the 2027 design and are delivered as packed by the mint.
Why buyers choose it
Buying a full tube is the practical way to build a position in one go. Coins stay in mint condition, the tube stacks neatly in a safe, and you can still sell coin by coin later.
Pre-order: this is a 2027-dated issue. Your price is fixed when you pay, and the order is dispatched as soon as the mint releases stock, currently expected in mid-January 2027.
Paying with crypto
At checkout you choose your coin, your total is locked in US dollars, and you pay straight from your own wallet or exchange — BTC Bullions never takes custody of your funds. There is no minimum order, and no KYC on orders under $50,000. Your order ships fully insured and tracked, in plain packaging with no reference to its contents, usually within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation.
